Supported Living Services
Special Care is a provider of Supported Living Services (SLS) through North Bay Regional Center. We provide in-home caregiving and support to adults with disabilities throughout Solano County, specializing in serving clients with developmental disabilities as well as significant medical issues. Because Special Care also assists our clients with medical coordination and nursing needs, we are usually able to serve clients in their own homes and communities rather than in an institution.
We strive to empower our client’s independent decision making in their own best interest, including the choice of living in their home, and participating in their respective communities.

Nursing services for NBRC clients:
RN/LVN home visits and medical coordination for medically fragile, developmentally disabled children and adults for procedures such as dressing changes, G-Tube care and medications and/or feeding.
Medication and medical team coordination and administration for injections, diabetes management, patient and family education.
Referral Process: Contact your North Bay Regional Center Service Coordinator/Case Manager to determine eligibility.
Private Pay Clients: (Coming soon) We are working on a Nursing home visit option for non-Regional Center clients who may not have insurance coverage but are able to individually pay for intermittent nurse home visits. Contact us at admin@specialcareservices.org if interested
